These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the access and use of the Vaya Planet website (www.vayaplanet.com) and its associated services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website.

2. Services Provided by Vaya Planet

Vaya Planet is an online platform that connects volunteers with partner organizations for the purpose of carrying out ethical and responsible volunteer missions. We offer services for matchmaking, application management, personalized support, and mission management.

3. Registration and User Responsibilities

To use our services, you must register as a volunteer or a partner organization. During registration, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

  • Volunteers: You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and your behavior on the website.

  • Partner Organizations: You are responsible for publishing volunteer missions and managing volunteers within your projects.

4. Volunteer Obligations

As a volunteer, you agree to:

  • Respect the rules, schedules, and safety instructions of the partner organizations

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on your profile

  • Actively participate in the missions you apply for

  • Adhere to the ethical and professional standards of each mission

5. Partner Organization Obligations

As a partner organization, you agree to:

  • Publish clear, honest, and well-managed missions

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of volunteers during their missions

  • Honor the terms agreed upon with Vaya Planet for volunteer reception

  • Provide quality support throughout the mission

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. We collect, store, and process your personal data only in connection with mission management and associated services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Vaya Planet acts as a matchmaking platform and cannot be held responsible for the actions or behaviors of volunteers or partner organizations after the match has been made. Vaya Planet does not guarantee the perfect execution of missions or adherence to the parties' commitments.
We cannot be held responsible for accidents, damages, or losses incurred during the mission, unless this is due to a failure on our part in managing the matchmaking.

8. Intellectual Property

The content on the website, including texts, images, logos, videos, and graphics, is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution, or use of the content without written permission from Vaya Planet is prohibited.

9. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

Vaya Planet reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page and will take effect upon publication. It is your responsibility to regularly check this page for any updates.

10. Duration and Termination

  • Volunteers: You can terminate your account at any time by contacting us at vayaplanet@gmail.com.

  • Partner Organizations: You can terminate your participation on the platform by notifying us at the address mentioned above.

In case of non-compliance with these T&C, Vaya Planet reserves the right to suspend or delete a user’s account, whether they are a volunteer or a partner organization.

11. Force Majeure

In case of force majeure (pandemic, natural disaster, etc.), Vaya Planet will not be held responsible for the consequences on the execution of missions or the inability to access the platform. Users will be informed of the impacts on missions and the proposed solutions.

12. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority or another competent authority. For any other complaints, you can contact us at vayaplanet@gmail.com.

13. Online Dispute Resolution Platform

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform (ODR) available at the following address: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Vaya Planet is neither willing nor obligated to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law. In case of a dispute, the competent courts will be those of Brussels, Belgium.
