Peru – Amazon Rainforest
An unforgettable journey in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, supporting
the protection of wildlife and ecosystems.
Founded in 2011 by a team of biodiversity enthusiasts, the Rainforest Awareness Rescue Education Centre (RAREC) is dedicated to rehabilitating wild animals rescued from illegal trafficking and raising awareness among local communities about conservation.
By joining this project, you directly contribute to the preservation of the Amazon rainforest, while enjoying an unforgettable immersion in one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.

Your mission
What?
Join the team to help care for rescued wild animals, maintain the center, and take part in awareness activities.
Each day, you’ll contribute directly to the protection of wildlife and the Amazon rainforest.
Who?
Open to everyone 18 years and older, no experience needed, just the desire to help, learn, and live a meaningful adventure.
When?
Missions are available all year round, with specific arrival and departure days.
How long?
The minimum stay is two weeks or more, which is ideal to truly connect with the place, the rhythm, and the animals.

What’s Included in Your Fee

Airport pick-up and transfer to the center.
Simple and friendly accommodation, with the option to upgrade for more comfort.
Full meals provided daily, if you have any dietary requirements, just let us know.
Supervision and support from the local team.
Wi-Fi available in common areas (depending on the weather ☁️).
Immediate transport to a medical center if needed (medical costs remain at the volunteer’s expense).
What’s Not Included in Your Fee
International/domestic flights and transfers to the center.
Tourist visa (if required).
Travel/medical insurance (mandatory).
Personal toiletries (shampoo, sunscreen, insect repellent,... ).
Personal expenses and excursions outside the center.
Your contribution directly supports the rehabilitation of animals, the protection of the Amazon rainforest, and the operation of the center.
