Save animals rescued from illegal wildlife trade and help protect the Ecuadorian Amazon, one of the most precious rainforests in the world.
Since 1993, amaZOOnico has been working in the Ecuadorian Amazon to rescue wild animals confiscated from illegal trafficking. The center shelters, cares for, and rehabilitates these animals, with the goal (whenever possible) of returning them to the wild.
By joining this volunteering mission in Ecuador, you actively contribute to a committed, ethical, and deeply human project at the heart of the Amazon, one of the richest biodiversity hotspots on Earth.

Your mission
What?
Take an active part in the protection and rehabilitation of wild animals rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking, in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
You contribute directly to biodiversity conservation while living an unforgettable human and nature-based immersion.
Who?
This mission is for you if you are 18 years old or over, passionate about wildlife and motivated to commit to its protection.
When?
Missions are available year-round, arrivals and departures take place on Saturdays only, to ensure smooth organization and volunteer integration.
How long?
The minimum commitment is 4 weeks.
The longer you stay, the greater your impact.

Excursions or personal activities.
Your contribution directly supports the rehabilitation of wild animals, biodiversity protection, and the day-to-day operation of the center.
All fees are set with full transparency, with no hidden costs.
Examples of contributions based on mission duration:
4 weeks → from €445 (≈ $480)
8 weeks → from €865 (≈ $940)
12 weeks → from €1215 (≈ $1320)
Fees vary depending on the duration of the mission and the period.
