Wildlife Volunteering in Ecuador

A meaningful mission at the heart of wildlife rehabilitation in the Amazon rainforest

Entrance Wildlife rehabilitation center in the Ecuadorian Amazon

Founded from a shared dream, Merazonia Wildlife Rescue Center was created in the heart of the Ecuadorian rainforest to offer a second chance to wild animals rescued from illegal trafficking.

Here, the Amazon is not just a backdrop. It is a living, demanding environment deeply connected to the rehabilitation of wildlife.

By joining this mission, you become part of the center’s daily work, where every action is designed to support animal welfare and preserve natural behaviors.

My Field Perspective

What I particularly appreciate about Merazonia Wildlife Rescue Center is the balance between immersion, respect for animals, and the reality of life on the ground.

This is far from a staged volunteer experience.

The center follows a simple, committed, and coherent approach that reflects the real needs of the animals in its care.

You will live an authentic experience, deeply connected to the jungle and the rehabilitation process.
