Rescue animals victims of illegal trafficking and help protect the Ecuadorian Amazon,

one of the world’s most precious rainforests.

With AmaZOOnico, you will support the rehabilitation of wild animals rescued from trafficking or accidents, while providing a safe refuge for those that cannot return to the wild.

As a volunteer, you will also contribute to biodiversity conservation and take part in educational programs to raise awareness among local communities. An unforgettable immersion in the world’s largest rainforest, where every action makes a difference for the planet.

Your mission

What?

Take part in the protection and rehabilitation of wild animals rescued from illegal trafficking. Live an unforgettable immersion in the Amazon while helping to preserve biodiversity.

Who?

Open to anyone 18 years and older, passionate about nature and motivated to take action. A good physical condition is required to adapt to the hot and humid climate, as well as life in a remote environment. English or Spanish is essential to communicate with the team and other volunteers.

When?

Missions are available all year round, with flexible dates. Arrivals and departures take place only on Saturdays to facilitate organization.

How long?

The minimum stay is 4 weeks. The longer you stay, the more impact you have… and the more advantageous the fee!

Vaya Planet Support: Personalized guidance before, during, and after your mission.

3 homemade meals per day: Varied buffet with vegetarian options. Water, tea, and coffee included.

Accommodation (depending on the option selected), with bed linen provided.

Wi-Fi available in common areas (occasional outages possible in the heart of the jungle).

International and domestic flights.

Round-trip transportation to the sanctuary is the responsibility of the volunteer.

Medical and travel insurance (mandatory).

Personal toiletries (shampoo, sunscreen, insect repellent,... )

Wi-Fi : Not included. The connection is limited at the center.

Excursions or personal activities outside the program.

Your contribution directly supports the rehabilitation of wild animals, the protection of biodiversity, and the running of the AmaZOOnico center. Acommodation is in shared dormitories, offering a friendly and immersive experience in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
